SILENT POST [PROJECT TRAILER]

“Silent Post” is a concept piece by Alexander Schubert. The framework consists of a collection of compositions and tools. Participating artists choose a piece from the existing Silent Post works. Then they create their personal contribution! Within the framework there are source pieces which are provided by the composer. And there are the user contributions based on these pieces. The artist either chooses a source piece or any other Silent Post contribution as a starting point. With each new version the material is transformed, reinterpreted and changed - and new material is included. It evolves like a family tree. Constantly changing. There is a set of tools that can be used freely by the interpreting artist. This includes deleting, permutation, copying and stretching. The pieces can consist of all possible media, like audio, music, text, video and performance. So, any artist is invited to participate! You can simply choose a piece to begin with and then create your own remix version from it! All existing pieces will be documented online!
